Welcome to Mr Dilly’s Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Great Explorers school workshop! Join Mr Dilly, performing as a daring explorer, as he whisks the children through the lives and adventures of Christopher Columbus, Ernest Shackleton, and Neil Armstrong. From sailing stormy seas to braving the freezing Antarctic and blasting into space, this fun, fast-paced and interactive workshop brings the spirit of discovery to life — packed with excitement, energy, and unforgettable learning moments!

What will the children will experience?
Set sail with Columbus as the whole class re-enacts his stormy voyage across the Atlantic in search of the New World.
Take part in the Space Race, with the some children taking part ina relay race to the moon.
Re-enact the moon landing, with children chosen to step into the boots of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
Discover what makes a great explorer, learning about bravery, resilience, leadership, and teamwork.
Join in whole-class movement and sound activities, from ocean waves to rocket launches, keeping the session lively and engaging
