Welcome to Mr Dilly’s Key Stage 2 Tudors school workshop! Step into Tudor England in 1546, where Mr Dilly transforms into colourful characters — from a poor peasant at May Day, to Henry VIII’s executioner, and even a Tudor noble. Packed with drama, songs, role play, and unforgettable stories, this fun and fast-paced workshop brings the world of the Tudors to life, from the hardship of ordinary people to the power and excess of kings.

What will the children will experience?
Take part in a lively May Day peasant dance and discover Tudor food, work and daily life.
Learn about the Tudor social hierarchy — from peasants to nobles.
Meet Henry VIII’s executioner and join a mock beheading (volunteer pupil included!).
Discover Henry’s six wives, his break from Rome, and the Dissolution of the Monasteries.
Explore Tudor punishments in a lively “Top of the Chops” game.
End with a mock joust as Tudor nobles, uncovering how the wealthy lived and fought.
